"Affordable" doesn't mean watered-down. 25 g of complete protein per 33 g scoop, all 9 essential amino acids, DIAAS > 1.0, third-party verified per batch. The price is low because fermentation is cheaper than dairy supply chains — not because we cut quality.

STEP 01
Ferment

Food-grade Saccharomyces cerevisiae is grown on Indian sugarcane molasses in stainless-steel fermenters.

STEP 02
Harvest

After 24 hours, cells are separated from the broth, washed, and concentrated to a thick paste.

STEP 03
Disrupt

Cell walls are broken down to release the protein and free up the beta-glucan fibre.

STEP 04
Spray-dry

The protein-rich slurry is spray-dried into a fine powder, blended with flavour, and tubbed.

Yeast protein comes from food-grade Saccharomyces cerevisiae — the same family of yeast used to make bread and beer. We grow it on sugarcane molasses in stainless-steel fermenters, harvest the cells, wash them clean, and dry them into a powder that's 78% protein by weight. It's the same fermentation tradition behind idli batter and dosa, just done in a controlled facility.
Two reasons. One, fermentation doesn't depend on monsoon, dairy supply chains, or imported pea isolate — we make it from molasses, which is abundant and cheap in India. Two, we sell direct, no distributor cut. The amino profile is complete (all 9 EAAs), digestibility (DIAAS) is over 1.0, and every batch is third-party tested. We didn't cut corners on quality — we cut them on supply chain.
Yes to both. Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a fungus, not animal-derived. The unflavoured version contains nothing but yeast protein and salt. Flavoured versions use plant-based flavouring and sucralose. Suitable for Jain diets except for the unavoidable yeast itself — please check with your guru if that's a concern.
Whey concentrate gives you 22–24g per 33g scoop. Whey isolate gives 25–27g. Yeast protein gives a clean 25g per 33g scoop with a complete amino profile and no lactose. Leucine is slightly lower than whey (2.1g vs ~2.5g), but at half the price-per-gram you can comfortably take a bit more.
For most people, no. Unlike whey, there's no lactose. Unlike soy, there's no oligosaccharide load. The beta-glucan content is mildly prebiotic — it feeds your gut bacteria. If you're new to fermentation-based proteins, start with half a scoop for the first three days.
Yes — FSSAI license number 10024051002847. Manufactured at our Ambernath, Maharashtra facility. Every batch is tested for protein content, microbial safety, and heavy metals by an NABL-accredited lab. The COA travels with the lot — scan the QR on the tub to download yours.
Three things: (1) yeast fermentation is structurally cheaper than dairy or pea farming, (2) we source the molasses locally instead of importing isolates, (3) we ship direct from our warehouse — no retail margin, no distributor stack. We're also okay with thinner margins because we want to be the daily protein for working Indians, not a luxury supplement.
Try a full tub for 100 days. If you don't like it — for any reason, even "the smell isn't for me" — email us and we'll refund the full amount. You don't even have to return the tub.
